Important Print Update
I have decided to offer my prints in only four formats this year: 5"x7" and 8"x10". 8"x10" will be the standard size offered at art shows and will frequently be single-matted in black to fit an 11"x14" frame. I've decided to do this to offer a more neutral mat color that will not clash with decor and so that large collections of my art will have the same mat color. Some limited quantities of matted prints may be available on the site from time to time.
I feel that these print sizes are a bit more manageable for me to ship and produce, and more manageable for customers, fans and collectors to frame and find space for in their homes. For now, prints larger than 8"x10" will only be offered for special large-format paintings and may not be available at art shows. 12"x16" unmatted prints and 12"x16" prints matted to fit 16"x20" frames will no longer be offered from Tiffany's Realm.
This is in part to combat escalating shipping and paper costs but also to make the art more collectable and standard-sized, and to reduce the waste produced by my company.
So, just a quick recap: 12"x16" Prints, and 12"x16" prints matted to fit 16"x20" frames have been discontinued, as have 8"x10" prints matted to fit 11"x14" frames. I still am offering 5"x7" Matted Mini Prints, which are approximately 3"x5" prints matted to fit a 5"x7" frame, and 8"x10" Matted Mini Prints, which are approximately 5"x7" prints matted to fit an 8"x10" frame, as well as 5"x7" unmatted prints and 8"x10" unmatted prints.
Print prices have also been adjusted. Some prices have been dropped and others have been increased. You will find now that the price of an 8"x10" is determined by whether it is an open edition or limited edition print. If it is a limited edition print, the total number of prints in the edition determines the cost (more prints in an edition = a less valuable print and so the prices have been dropped, fewer prints in an edition = a more valuable print and so those prices have been increased).
Thank you for your understanding, and happy 2010!
